"Our Lake"
Lake Bredsjon is a short walk away and has a couple of nice, private beaches for swimming in peace. 

It is also great for fishing! Bredsjon together with several other fishing lakes close by are regarded as the best  in the area - full of pike, perch & eel etc. (Fishing permits about 100 SEK/ £7 pounds for a year's fishing, contact neigbour Bertil at Ekenas)

We have a boat - its quite old but it works! 
It's about 4.5m long and takes 4-5 people. It is moored on the lake 500m from our house. You can use the oard to get around, or the electric engine which is kept in the bolier cupboard.

We also have a trailer should you want to transport the boat to other lakes (if you have a hook on the car) - its old but it works if you drive slowly (max 30km/h) and not too far.

Övre Åsundens FAA is based around the large lake of Åsunden, and is one of the largest fishing administration areas in Sjuhärad. Åsunden has a multitude of fish and in addition to pike-perch are bleak, burbot, vendace and ruffe.
Fishing for pike-perch is forbidden during the spawing season wich occurs during the end of May and the beginning of June (Weeks 20-22).
